Join Enfield Historical Society Member Jim Malley for a presentation on Rivers, Brooks and Ponds in Enfield. The presentation will trace the map location and the naming of the waterways. The program will also look at how the waterways were used for transportation, trade, mill power and recreation. The program will include an overview of how Hurricane Diane caused flood damage in 1955. Aerial maps will be on display showing views of Enfield waterways.

This presentation is open to the public.  Anyone with an interest in Enfield history is welcome to attend.

The Enfield Historical Society is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that has preserved and shared Enfield’s history for more than 60 years.  New members are always needed and greatly appreciated.  Everyone is welcome.  You don’t need to be a historian or Enfield native to join.  Become a member today!
